The operation involves purchasing“pulp” logs by the green ton and converting the logs into wood chips for the pulp and paper industry. This service makes it possible to clean up a land owners' property without engaging in slashing or burning the smaller tree stems. Top diameters of the acceptable pulp logs start at 3 ½ inches. Almost any specie of soft wood is accepted at the chipping operation.
